We support community efforts to plant bamboo trees and help combat deforestation. Bamboo planting helps farmers to more efficiently prevent soil erosion, since the extensive root system of a bamboo plant remains in the same place over it's lifespan. Protecting the watersheds that supply life's most essential resource — water — is our main priority. Our continents' forests (trees and bamboo) provide water vapor that draws moisture from the oceans. Rain is made by bamboo and trees.
Support This Program
We encourage the utilization of Bamboo since nearly every part of the bamboo is usable! It is consumed as food, used as mulch, and made into lovely furniture. Bamboo plants are also adaptable since they are used to make construction materials, paper, flooring, charcoal, and more. You may use every component of the bamboo plant. Further, by reusing Bamboo stalks both in the homestead and commercially, we intentionally reduce waste and make our environment safer.

We provide and promote a sustainable and profitable means of livelihood through Bamboo farming. The majority of bamboo farmers work in bamboo nurseries. In addition to maintaining client groves and removing undesirable bamboo, they also sell plants. Due to the versatility and high utility of Bamboo, it is highly commercialized and profitable. Further, it's easy to start growing Bamboo since they are plants that can grow in various conditions.
